RACE NIGHT - GERRY MACS

We had a successful night at Gerry Macs at our Race Night. The event was organised by Tracey to help raise funds for our forthcoming trip to Ireland on 30th October. Congrats to Tractor Tom on winning the Auction, just pipping the Kilconnel Boys. Thanks to all that bought horses and sponsored races.

Birmingham Tournament
The annual pre-season trip to Erin go Bragh Birmingham on Saturday 12th March was a success with Tara winning the Cup and Bid Grennan picking up the Player of the Tournament trophy. See ReportNEW

Camogie Challenge game against Burgess, Co Tipperary
Tara welcomed Burgess, Tipperary Senior County Champions, for a pre-season challenge game on Saturday 26th February 2011. It was a bit muddy to say the least but a good run-out for all involved.
2011 - The year Tara Camogie Club of London reached an All-Ireland Club Final on our 25th Anniversary.
As Senior London Camogie Champions 2011, Tara earned a place in the All-Ireland Club Championship.
Sunday 30th October - The first hurdle was a trip away to Antrim in the quarter-final against Ulster Champions Ruairi Og.
Saturday 19th November - Next up the semi finals where Leinster champions Myshall of Carlow travelled to Ruislip.
Sunday 27th November 2011 - Following the epic semi final win, Tara play the Final a week later in Ashbourne against the Munster Champions, Inagh of Clare
who had seen off defending champions Four Road in their semi-final.
Whilst the result didnt go our way it was a fantastic achievement for our Club to actually reach the final. We are the first London camogie team to pass the quarter final stage never mind actually reaching a Final. Well done to everyone involved.
Tara travelled to Mitcham for the League Final and retained the League Shield, again for the 3rd year. Read More

Junior League Final - 21 May 2011 ~ Tara v J Mitchells
Tara ( London ) v John Mitchells (Birm). Sunday 21 May. Louise Holland ( Cork ) ruined Tara 's day again by having another stormer in centre half back in captain Mooneys last game before jetting off to Auz. report to follow.
League Semi Final - 14 May 2011 ~ Tara progress to Final
London Junior League semi finals were on 14th May at Greenford. Tara beat Croydon in the first semi final whilst John Mitchells beat GIsles in the other. The League Final is fixed for next Sunday at Greenford - time tbc.
Tara crowned London Senior Camogie League Champions 2010 Tara beat Croydon on Saturday 13 November at TCG in a tight game with 2 points to spare .
All Ireland Club Camogie Junior Championship - Sat 16 October.
Tara (London) v Four Road (Roscommon).
Victory for Four Roads at London GAA Headquarters Ruislip and the Roscommon outfit went on to win the All Ireland Junior title beating Corofin of Clare. Tara legend Brenda Donughue (nee Daffy) played corner back for Corofin.
Junior Championship Final - Sat 25 Sept . Unfortunately we were beaten by a better team on the day in John Mitchells of Birmingham.
Crew travel to Kilmacud 7s. Won the first game, nearly drew the second and were seen off by Geraldines (runners-up) in the 3rd.
Senior Championship Final Winners - Sat 3rd July . Tara beat Murphys to retain the London Senior Camogie Championship 2010 & Denise Gilligan wins the Player of the Final Trophy as sponsored by The Irish Post and presented to Gilly by Graham Clifford.
Tara 7s 2010 another success. Congrats to Shannon Rovers, Tipp on pipping Taras in a gripping Cup Final. Killimor of Galway take home the plate whilst Birmingham win the Junior Cup for the first time.
