Despite the rain and the nervous tension all week, the Tara Camogie 7's went ahead as planned and for a second time Holycross Ballycahill travelled to London and took back to Tipperary not only the Getjar Senior Cup but Siobhan Ryan collected the Senior Player of the Tournament, mirroring their achievements of 2006.
The Senior Plate was won by St Johns of Belfast.

Senior Entrants from Ireland - St Marys Ahoghill , St Johns of Belfast, Craughwell Co Galway, Clanna Gael Fontenoy of Dublin, Holycross Ballycahill of Tipperary - two teams. Bros Pearse, Croydon, Fr Murphys and hosts Tara took the total to 10 senior teams competing.

Tara Camogie Club have both Junior and Senior teams so welcome players of all standards, from beginners to All-Stars. We also have a great base of underage girls and welcome all aged 12 years +.
London County Camogie Coaching Course- Saturday 12 April 2008
London Camogie Coaching Course will be held at St Georges School, Sudbury on Saturday 9am sharp til 5'ish. Mags Heneghan, Sheila Fernandes & Gemma Strachan from Tara will attend under the watchful eye of Aoife Davitt and Noel Wilson.
Race Night - The Leamington - Friday 14 March 2008
We had a great night out at our Race Night on Friday 14 March. Many thanks to Ann & Tom at The Leamington, Horn Lane, Acton for their continued support. Good luck to Mairead and Christiano as they head off to elope to Milan. See you after the honeymoon.
Erin go Bragh, Birmingham - Touranment 8 March 2008
Thanks to Tommy McConnon for driving the 15 x Tara girls to the Erin go Bragh tournament on Saturday. Tara did well to overcome the hosts, Cullion from Westmeath and Gort na Mona but were unable to progress past semi final stage.
TRAINING - Currently Mondays & Thursdays The more the merrier - bring everyone you know.
Training venues and days are often reviewed so please make contact before travelling.

Tara Camogie welcomes young players to add to our current crop of ten girls under the age of 18 years.
Did you know that Camogie can be played as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Awards scheme. Three of our youngsters completed awards last year and were able to report the Shaunagh scored a goal in the Junior Championship semi-final v Br Pearse; Sinead scored v Croydon in last Junor league game whilst Ceire controlled the defence. 20th Anniversary Tournament a Big Success. Tara Camogie Club’s 20th Anniversary 7-a-side tournament at Tir Chonaill Park Greenford on Saturday 22 April 2006 was an astounding success with 31 camogie games played at both Junior and Senior grade, in both cup and plate competitions.
